Climate change is causing temperatures to rise. And everyone is consuming more water – whether it’s to make soda, microchips or cattle feed. But our reservoirs are running dry. Investors are buying water rights, prices are going up and farmers are running out of water.
The climate crisis is worsening worldwide. In many countries, increasing drought is threatening not only human survival, but entire ecosystems. Livestock farmers are running out of water. In India, farmers can no longer irrigate their fields. People are fleeing their homes in large numbers.
Who owns water? Will there be more and more conflicts, even wars, over water? What will happen if our water disappears?

Water is not running out. Everybody just calm down and have a drink of tea or something. The ocean. THE OCEAN!!! All you have to do is desalinate the ocean water. This takes energy and technology. We already have the technology. Dubai, for example, is just one of many countries that are processing salt water into fresh water. Instead of using fossil fuel ran processing plants, we could use renewable energy plants. Powered by the sun. Its extremely simple. Models already exist lol. There is literally no crisis that we cannot solve. Stop panicking.

Is crazy that Germany environmentalists lobbied so hard to close nuclear reactors, a technology that could have saved us from this climate disasters, and now the same people are complaining about the water after they are responsible for the dependence on gas to replace the energy coming for those nuclear reactors and also for contributing to the climate problem due by changing a green source of energy for fossil fuel. Crazy. This is a constant everywhere, people complain instead of thinking about the big picture, they think money grows in trees and the world can be changed by creating a law, while they should be educated to understand and put themselves in the shoes of those politicians or better remove the politicians and force people to be involved in political decisions so that they can learn.

I don't think good clean fresh water has ever been easy to come by! Probably our modern culture with water faucets in every home, you and I, a small fraction of everybody. take water for granted. Most humans alive and in the past – water is / was difficult to obtain. If we had our brains on right oil would be almost free and Water prices would top the markets! And please don't get me started on the bottle water trick! 1 plastic bottle of water, +2136 bottles per year (89 cases, A pallet, A lot of plastic bottle, cap and wrap) a counter top water filter (also fits in most fridges) works well (pun)

I used to live in the mountains of Northern California and have watched our yearly rainfall drop from 80 to 100 inches in '86 to 20 or 30 in 2022. Snowfall that matters now falls around 5500 ft. elev. from 2000 to 2500 ft. elev. in '86.
