The schedule says today is the day I really make progress laying the flagstone floor underneath the big backyard pergola. It’s a bit chilly out this morning however, so we start with a fire in the big clay fireplace while I summarize today’s plan and review what you can expect from my day’s work. As the fire settles down and the sun breaks through the clouds, it’s time to put each of the 5-15 lbs flagstone puzzle pieces into place, making sure it’s all level and working well together. Come join me as I get up, get out, and get active with this backyard landscape transformation.
