Lowes || Humidifier Dandruff || Philodendron Dean Mcdowell || Cold Plant Shipment || Saturday Vlog



Quick look at the houseplants while shopping at Lowes for mulch and then some discussion about the mystery dust and everyone’s feedback as to what that may be coming from. Later I went outside to talk about mulching banana trees and which palms stay out during the extreme cold weather. I also staked up and then talked about one of my favorite philodendrons, the philodendron dean mcdowell. Finally I opened up a box of plants from Ecuagenera that I worried might be full of frozen rare plants… they look ok so far.

    I had a mouse family living in my wood stove. I went to give it a good clean out before starting it back up for the winter season and a mouse jumped out a me. I chased the thing around and didn’t get it, went back to cleaning and another mouse jumped out. I pulled the ash tray out and it was stuffed with paper from my paper shredder and a few plastic pieces. I probably should check it out again they may have made that their home again after it cooled off. I put some bait out, out of the reach of my animals, hopefully that does the trick. I don’t want to resort to traps because of the cats and dogs but if I have to I will, I will just have to snap them every morning and reset them at night. Hopefully empty them. 🍁🍂🍁🦃💚🙃

    I having to watch this in bits and pieces, my hubby is in the hospital and my daughter is with him relaying messages to me about what’s going on. We have a bunch of family coming for Thanksmas and I have a BUNCH of things that still need to be done. I just got done talking to hubby and he said that he didn’t want me driving in this weather. White out conditions here right now, I had to go into the village and it was a mess, the hospital is aways away from us so he didn’t want me to risk it. 😞🍁🍂🍁🦃💚🙃

    You know what I hate about the Amaryllis at Lowe's and HD? They never get anything other than the three colors. They used to get the Picotee a long time ago, haven't seen them there in years. Would it be so much to ask for them to get the picotee or a double flowered one?
