Materials:
4 Cement Mixing trays
2 Pressure Treated 2x4x12
6 Cement blocks
4 bags potting soil
4 to 6 varieties of lettuce, spinach, green onions, radishes, salad beets, etc.

Gardening is a MUST to combat the high gas and food prices. You have to first drive to the store which is gas money in order to pay the high price for food. Grow something that you eat and use on a weekly basis and save the money.

  1. Making it happen is the key! No excuses – you can have some fresh produce on a small scale that can enhance your stored preps with added nutrition. Great and easy idea for those with a limited budget. Can be done on a balcony, placed in a family or friend yard if you have no outdoor space without destroying the yard. We must use our imagination to feed ourselves nutritionally….
