Our Journey! How did we get here?
In the winter of 2019 we moved in to our self built van full time to begin living, working and travelling Canada. We quickly fell in love with chasing our dreams of adventuring off the beaten path, living off grid and being self sustaining. We drove our van thousands of miles through various countries-Canada, USA, Mexico & Guatemala. All of which we documented here on our channel, be sure to check that out! After many years on the open road we found ourselves 15 acres of remote woods on the East Coast of Canada where we are building a homestead and renovating our fully off the grid cabin. We are diving into this chapter of our lives in no experience, we’re so happy we can bring you all along as we learn to do it all with our own two hands. I have been watching you for about 3 years now, I wish I had been watching you from the beginning. some of your adventures in the van were fantastic. you always appeared to find such beautiful locations. I remember when you first pulled up in the driveway to your cabin. the overgrown area all around the cabin made it hard to see. but you have come such a long way. admittedly I didn't like the interior much , but after a couple of epesodes you were transforming the outside into a beautiful oasis. now you have begun to transform the interior of the cabin. I have loved every single video you have made. you are both wonderful girls that are always taking on challenges with a beautiful smile

Beautiful! I have often thought it would be cool to go off grid although I would choose to be a bit closer to civilization, especially for medical care. I love all the work you have done. One thing you did not mention, and I don't know if you have considered it, is a root cellar to store hard fruits and vegetables from your crops over the winter. Once again, bravo!

Y’all are AMAZING and I love you❤ I became a widow a year ago. 2023 I’ll be traveling Texas and the US in my Winnebago View…with my two dogs. It’s scary for me, but exciting. Will see where it takes me from there. You both are an inspiration!

the big challenge comes when you spend a winter at the cabin .. you've been off to warmer climates in winter .. if this is your first time to take on a full time Canadian winter and STAY PUT i'll give you a high five .. staying until it gets cold is what it is . pioneering thru a full on winter at -37 below for almost a month .. I'll call you a freedom convoy award winner ..

It just gets better!! Thank you ladies again and again, your journeys and your year off-grid have been have been an enormous achievement for you and an inspiration to all of your audience. At age 77 I will soon be moving from my home of 40 years to a new one 380 miles north. It will not be off grid and I will have family close by so only a little challenge compared to what you have done. But you inspire me nonetheless! I am so pleased that you found each other, the warmth of your shared love spreads around the world when we need it so much. It certainly has reached me here in the UK. O Canada!
