My husband has started this bonsai with 3 Japanese Maple seedlings.
April – re-potted.
June – suffered from drought when we were away on vacation and lost most of its leaves.
July – clean up and trim back branches for a bonsai style
August – update on the result of the July trim
November – Fall colors are amazing
November 14 – most leaves are gone. Put away under patio for winter protection

Do you know her name? Her parent reminds me of Seriyu. Very nice!
Put them in the ground next spring mate on a tile to create great nebari and fatten their trunks mate.
How long you leave them in the ground depends how fat you want your trunks to get.
