I gave you like because your daughter was in the video and I wanted to prove that having family makes videos better but that table was not pretty I think stating that one was a big mistake and the gold flake doesn’t really come out in the video so it looks like glue or yellow
would have been an amazing multi piece coffee table that you can setup in a circle or move around

Honestly if you ever got a broken piece of wood again then you should do this, but mix the dust with the Epoxy. I know that sounds bad, but… it might help a little bit. But then again I haven't ever used epoxy myself so what do I know?

It's a beautiful piece it was well done. Personally however I think the brightness of the gold clashes with the stain. I think a softer stain and a less shiny inlay (copper) would have prevented the look of 70ish Chinese furniture.
