I want more of these videos I loved this. This video helped me like find my center after being overwhelmed to the point of sickness. Thank you! Also I love gardening! Especially pollinator gardening! This was fun! Thanks again!
так вдохновляюще рассказываете о том, что куда хотите посадить, что мне тоже захотелось что-то посадить😅 хотя никогда не интересовалась этой темой и вообще живу в квартире))
you should definitely consider planting more Bougainvilleas! they love full sun and heat and with the mild winters you get in California they could potentially bloom all year around!
May I ask, is Mila fully bilingual? Does she speak Russian to your family? I have cousins who are trilingual – English, Greek and Afrikaans! I find it absolutely fascinating, especially when they keep switching between the three in one sentence! 😊
I’ve been enjoying these garden progress videos! 🌿 I live in an apartment so I don’t have a garden/yard, but I have a collection of potted plants on the balcony which is like my mini garden 😄🪴
Japanese maples do have periods where they can look like they are dying for a season or two. I would leave them alone and do not trim them or anything. They will come back fine.
You are so cool Maria. I love all the plants you chose. And I love the window action on your house. It's so beautiful. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me. 💜
Thank you so much for sharing Maria, i get the feeling that your garden is going to end up awesome!!! Mila is so grown up, she's a jewel, have joy and health in your family!!! love from Greece❤💚🧡✨
Hi Maria, is there any chance you could please reupload your old ASMR day crafting video? It was my absolute favourite for the longest time! And ever since it's been removed, I haven't found another video that's helps me sleep the way that one used to! Thank you a million times if you do readd the video 💗💗💗💗
Hi Maria I've been a huge fan of yours for many years – you are a true pioneer in your profession, and I have so much respect for you. I specialize in California native landscape design and installation in the San Diego area. I thought I would make a couple comments. As you noted correctly, Bee's bliss is extremely fast growing – we can usually count on it to reach at least 6 feet across in a single season. It will also tip root as it creeps along. Groundcover manzanita is also a great choice for such a rocky slope, as it is very shallow rooted (Dr. Hurd is a large upright tree form). BTW Dr. Hurd is one of our fastest growing manzanita, often 3' per year. I only recommend the least fertile amendment (if at all), as these plants do much better long term without high levels of nutrients. I know in such rocky soil it is hard to find enough dirt to backfill; plain clean soil is great! Finally, Coast live oak can grow shockingly fast, and native succulents like Dudleya (planted on their sides) would love that rockiness. Best of luck! – Greg
Maria I love your gardening videos!!! I don't know where you are in Ca but if you happen to be in the Bay Area there are some really amazing plant places! There is a really neat native plant place that I go to in Oakland called Oaktown Native Plant Nursery if you ever find yourself in that area. They have a pretty good variety and their prices are very fair. There is also a really awesome place called Planting Justice (also in Oakland), which has an insane variety of plants. You can also order online, though it can be expensive if you order a lot like me lol. Hope you end up checking them out 🙂

Girl you need to move ! Lol
Mane plant some succulents on the rocky, dry slope? They would probably thrive there.

A good tip is to put water in your hole with the plant before you cover it back in with your soil
Plant Portulaca or Moss Rose- it will grow as a ground cover and it’s beautiful . I live in Sacramento so similar planting Zone.
