Planting Sweet Potato Slips in our Arizona Backyard Garden Wk 11

Planting Sweet Potato Slips in our Arizona Backyard Garden Wk 11 This past week or two I have really been looking for some improvement in the looks of our squash and tomatoes. I am convinced they are getting sunburned. Today, I share with you the changes we made to get them looking prettier. We also share with you some of the process of converting the salad garden in a kiddie pool to a sweet potato bed. Then we plant some slips and a volunteer tomato. There are several veggies getting big enough to pick! The temperature is unseasonably cool today and the rest of the week so we are hoping for some good growing in the meantime!

  1. I'm interested to see how your sweet potatoes will turn out. I totally went for it…lol I hope I didn't put too many plants in the container….i may find another container and try what you're doing as well. I'm up for trying anything. The propagating is soooo soooo neat isn't it? FREE PLANTS… you can never go wrong. Thanks for the video.

  2. You made me laugh about good memories. Our son came out to visit us. When he got in the car I had the heat blasting. It was 61 outside and I was freezing. Back East 61 is super warm, but her in Tucson- that's darn cold! Lol
