Edible Gardening

Limequats! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹ Sour on the inside, with a sweet edible skin

Limequats are a cross between key lime and kumquats. Such a cool citrus that’s more cold hardy than key limes which is great if your climate has too much frost for key limes. You can eat them whole like a kumquat but they’re pretty sour – the juice anyway. The skin is nice and sweet so helps to balance it out a bit.
They’re great to use in cooking as a lime alternative ๐Ÿ™‚
