Question: I'm in zone 5a, on the WI/IL border, on the prairie. Winter brings really strong NW winds, even with some mature trees on the property. I'm very taken with some of the dwarf conifers you've been showing, and I want to know if I can stick with 4 cold hardiness, or need to go down to 3, in order to make sure they can survive the winds. Or does that matter? Thanks!
