Jimmy Carr's talked about this: they were in a meeting to talk about the jokes on the show and someone came up with the idea of acting like Susie Dent was "a slag". Susie was actually in on the meeting and she thought it was, at least, a good enough idea to keep doing it for years.

I don't get what's so funny. I mean I know what a GH is (or at least I think I do) but there must have been some setup for the joke, or some reference, or something going on in pop culture, or something like that to make him say that and it be funny. I would think. Can anybody explain this to me?
I thought it came about due to Joe's joke beforehand about being a peeping Tom and having binoculars, or have I missed something? I really don't get what's not to get or why it was unnecessary? Please help…

I must say British game shows are a hell of a lot better than current American shows…they have real humor and not cheap puns.

I was bullied till my hair fell out in 1975 – I only started talking more than very little again recently loose my temper – it's a waste of time when somebody over 3 times your weight is bouncing on your chest – you ho ho I've never drunk rum!!
