Excellent video. Loved the cautionary tail. I definitely struggle with being too hard on myself when it comes to art. Thanks for opening my eyes. Keep up the great work.
These are lovely photographs. Thank you.
Great video. Congratulations on finishing the zine. That last shot with the misty stumps is superb. It looks like it could be an alien planet. Well done on the running. I could never manage that. I have a friend who is an ultra marathon runner – up to 150 miles. He is nearly 60. He is build like a whippet though so he has an advantage.
What a great video and photos, you are a master.
When I recently started a more studied approach to B&W photography I decided to take the zine route to get my projects out there (not being digital). I have produced 7 now, locally printed, knowledge and quality improving, but so has the cost. I am now all spent up with 3 new ones curated – no more zines (at least for a while). Can still afford film and will definitely keep moving forward, it has become my passion.
Great photos of the trees in the forest, leaves with condensation and the tree stumps in the fog look reall nice.
Great Video, David. Definitely, will be ordering a copy of the new zine. Wow ! 50 miles running . I'm an avid cyclist, done many centuries and half centuries , over the years, I could not imagine , running 50 or 76 miles . That's an accomplishment . Looking forward to the new zine . Thanks.KB
So many great shots, not one I can pick over all the others. The macro shots turned out really well – I think extension tubes don't get the love they deserve – there's no glass, so if your lens is good, there's no reason the images won't be good unless there is camera shake etc. Yours turned out quite good I thought. As for being hyper critical, I do a lot of writing, and one bad comment lingers far longer than praise. Sad, isn't it?! We're almost all wired that way I think. It takes some real work to overcome that issue, but I am trying! Cheers!
From the first time that I saw one of your YouTube videos I have loved your photography and today is no exception. Thank you for all the effort you go to in order to get a video together. Cheers from Australia.
Great video and photos
