  1. Hard to believe, but I’ve never planted bulbs before, so this video is extremely helpful to me. I bought a bag of daffodil bulbs this year so I am so glad I watched this before I attempted to plant them. Thank you, and have a happy Thanksgiving!

  2. I need friends like you guys! I didn't get any bulbs this year but look forward to the spring displays I've planted the last 3 years. Ice Follies & Pink Charm are some of my favorites but I do love the multiples. Smaller but so sweetly scented!
    Happy Thanksgiving gardening friends!
Beautiful yesterday in N. George but cloudy & chilly today. Hanging out near the smoker to stay warm while our turkey gets done.

  3. What a great gift to your friends. Thank you, Stephany and Jim, for this channel of beautiful inspiration.

  4. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving πŸ¦ƒ. I woke to 7 wild turkeys this morning underneath the bird feeder 😊

  5. What an awesome πŸ¦ƒ day gift !! I wish someone would come plant bulbs for me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜’

  6. Interesting factoid about daffodil blooms facing south – never knew. I have also discovered species tulips over the past several years, including your β€˜Tuebingen’s Gem,’ as shown. I must have planted a dozen cultivars of various different species, and earlier this year in spring I was flummoxed by the explosion of colors, for several weeks, from mid-March through the first week of April. I had heard and read that they’re more likely to perennialize and that they’re supposed to be critter-
resistant, both pluses in my book!

  7. I planted my first daffodils last year. Fast forward to last week, some are already peeking though my mulch. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I’m going to chalk it up to that short warm spell we had after it was really cold (N. Alamance Co)

  8. Happy Thanksgiving ! I have my plan , i'll work the plan and reap the Glorified product !

  9. Happy Thanksgiving Jim, Stephany, Holly, and Griffin, as well as everyone in the HortTube audience! πŸ‚πŸ¦ƒπŸ΅οΈ

  10. Happy Thanksgiving! πŸ¦ƒ. I have five acres and I’m slowly adding more and more daffodils and alliums every year. I just want my own botanical garden, turns out that’s very expensive πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

  11. Happy Thanksgiving 😊 Jim and Stephany. May the thanks that you give being prosper, good fortune good health, safety, and love ❀️happy Thanksgiving.

  12. Happy Thanksgiving Jim and Steph! We’ve finished our lunch, so I can tuck in with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy this video while the kids nap. β˜•οΈπŸŒ±

  16. Hi. I have a question. I was out in my garden a few days ago and noticed that my daffodils and snow drops are starting to pop out of the ground. I live in South Carolina zone 8b. Do you have any tips on what I should do? Last year they did the same thing and my flower production was not very great.

  17. Hi Jim! Happy Thanksgiving belatedly. I was planting tulip bulbs today and some of the bulbs have a resin or glue like extrusion on the tip. I peeled away and planted, but I was wondering 1) what it is and 2) if it's going to impede the bulbs' growth? Thank you so much.

  18. Another question: when I cover over the bulbs with soil, sometimes the wood chip mulch gets mixed in with the soil. Is that a big no-no? Thanks again.

  19. Enjoyed this fun video. Is it too late to plant peony bulbs in chapel hill? Also curious about how quickly daffodils spread?

  20. Hi Jim I was just wondering is that rosemary where you pull back the much if it is I never knew you it would last in these temps

  21. Meant to plant much earlier, but finally got some crocus bulbs in the ground on Black Friday. Planted them under my mom's Magnolia Tree along with the ton of Daffodils already planted there, so fingers crossed she'll get a purple surprise this spring.

  22. Great video Jim and Stephanie! Love seeing you use the ProPlugger to plant bulbs in your friends' gardens! What a fun surprise for them this spring! Hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
