Why You Should Visit The Miniature Museum of Greater St. Louis/Tour S1-E3/ My Rehab Dollhouse Diary

The Miniature Museum of Greater St. Louis is a welcoming place where history comes to life and dreams become possibilities. This museum houses an extensive display of tiny objects throughout 6,200 square feet of exhibit space on two floors. With hundreds of room boxes, dollhouses and displays to view, the imagination is on overload.

Visitors are transported into a world in miniature through the skills of artisans from around the nation, as well as from many remarkably talented local miniaturists. Scales range from 1:16 (for Barbie sized dolls) and 1:12 (typical dollhouse = one inch equals 12 inches) to 1:24 (half scale, 1:48 (quarter scale), 1:144 and even micro miniatures!

Make sure you take an hour (or an afternoon), every visit holds its own surprises. You’ll see historic kitchens, rustic cabins, and messy attics shown beside meticulous mansions, haunted houses, manicured gardens, game rooms and shops, as well as thousands of dolls, animals and accessories.

Imagine yourself in a smaller world where anything is possible.
