  1. I’m not outside today. I’m ‘gardening’ inside with greenery and Christmas decorations.

I miss the fashion epilogue! Maybe it’s odd but I did a lot of shopping based on some of the pieces that you wear, Linda. You’ve inspired me in both the garden and my closet. ❤🌿

  2. I m collecting leaves of Gingko Biloba …I will dry them and spray them silver …to add in my silver Christmas Tree.
I will collect seeds ( awfull smelling berries of the Ginko tree …remove the fruit and keep the nut / seed) I will put it with river sand in a bag in the freezer ( stratification) …I want to let them germinate .
You can keep Gingko Biloba the first 3 years as a green houseplant. Than you harden them off and give them a place outside.
I think this is z nice project for next spring. I do the same with fern. ( spores in sand / soil …let them germinate.)
I like your Nandina berries …

    Kind regards,
    Marcus

  3. Hey Linda—– Above all the Christmas-izing, I just wanted to say you look like you are sparkling in good health! Happy to see you back to your old self!

  4. Your garden is beautiful in every season! You have made me appreciate my garden in all the seasons! Thank you!

  5. (My Japanese maple is the same…always turns a beautiful color & loses leaves much later than most of my trees.)
Speaking of leaves…raking is what I did today.😊

  6. Maple is absolutely beautiful. And I have a few of those little volunteer trees to dig up and pot up and maybe even put fairy lights on one of them. Merry Merry! But today I was out in my garden, digging up perennials that are zone 7, and in the last decade they say I am a 7 (mid atlantic near the mountains), but three out of four died last year, so I dig up and protect a little and replant in the spring.

  7. We had a warm day so leaf pick up today and then tomorrow decorating for Christmas on porch and lights!

  8. Fun fact: rollie pollies are in the crustacean family 😉🦀 OMG that Blood Good Maple is STUNNING!!! I'm also doing some foraging for winter foliage displays. In holding my first workshop on the subject in January at work. Wish me luck! The garden is stunning Linda 🌿

  9. I placed the succulent cuttings I received in the mail a few days ago, into little pot with soil, and found a place for it in my patio. Crossing fingers they'll do well in their new home.

  10. I foraged in our green belt and made a lovely garland swag for the front porch and swags for above the garage door lanterns. I also experimented with spraying them with the acrylic that I used on the pumpkins. What a great tip! They lasted all season! 🤗

  11. Love the little trees. Have stared some trees since seeing you do them Putting up snow fence and outside Christmas decorations today.

  12. The bloodgood maple leaves are pretty enough to gather a handful of (assuming they keep their color after they fall) and incorporate into Christmas decor. They’re so vibrant I don’t think they’d read as autumnal, just cheery and red.
