    I mostly buy mature blocks if cheese some times it has gritty bits in which what that is I don't know ,I don't know what thet are putting in our food at times rrr, 😡,that's bad they say there's only a little wood in cheeses when there's double I won't be buying that dint think I've ever had that cheese if I need it for pizza ,I will buy a block and grate it myself ,🤗👍

    They ought to gv folk a gift card if they don't gv the money bk ,this is unlawful ,folk want to shop else where if possible or if possible go to the shop pay by cash if possible ,yes I noticed the other day they charged more at check out for some tins if mince I didn't know till I got home and looked at recuts so I'm going to check from now on ,I did notice Once I was charged more for a product and they wouldn't gv it at the price it said in shelf and they are ment to 😡

    Go to the produce section last. Giant has digital scales and you can check out the weight of non produce items on the scales and deal with the discrepancy immediately. Take a pic of the product on the scale and then go to customer service.

    I really think that water was added to my 19.6 lb Thanksgiving turkey. Took the Turkey out of freezer, put in fridge for 5 days. Solid mass of ice in the center of the bird.

    At Safeway, we saw prebagged apples that said it was 3 lbs, I was curious and weighed it on their scale. It was only 2-12 lbs.

    I've got to where I go to my local mom and pop stores these big box stores are rip offs, my husband has gotten to where if he go's to the store and something is priced on the shelf a lot less he takes a picture of the shelf and the items there and shows the cashier no more argument 🤔

    The price tag on a grocery store shelf displays the same price regardless if some of the items on the shelf were purchased by the store at reduced price from the food supplier, whether it be the manufacturer or a discount wholesaler. When the store owner stocks a product for the first time, the grocery store owner scans the manufacturer's bar code that's on the label into the cash register's database. He/she then assigns to the bar code whatever price the store owner wants to charge the customer. So, if the store owner starts off with a case of green beans obtained from the manufacturer at 25 cents a can, then later on buys another case for 50 cents a can, then raises the price assigned to the bar code in the register from 25 cents to 50 cents………..any can on the shelf that the owner originally bought for 25 cents will thereafter be sold for 50 cents. That's why store owners can get away with selling items at a reduced price. If the reduced price is more than 25 cents (like say 30 cents), then the store owner still profits a nickel per can until at least one case has been sold. I also suspect that is why when you go to the store looking to buy a particular item on sale, the shelf will be almost empty….or even totally empty when you arrive. It's a way for the owner to get rid of their old stock, which also consists of those which are about to expire.
