An update on how far we’ve got with the polycarbonate in the greenhouse. It’s easy to put in but the weather has been difficult!

  1. Well done Laura, I to am about to reglaze my greenhouse think I will take your advice and get some new clips.I like the look of the new poly sheets. get planting now!!!!!!!!!

  2. Hi Laura, do you mind me asking where you got your polycarbonate from and how much? We lost a few bits of our greenhouse and have been searching for some at the lowest price possible as we are on a very low budget.
    Greenhouse is looking great.
All the best, Tina & Jason.

  3. Superb job there, Laura. That polycarbonate is the business! With all those new clips in the panels should stay put. Thanks for giving us the link to the company you got them from. Stay safe, both of you till we speak again.xxx

  4. You have done really well there but I think getting some silicon on those joins will be a good idea. The clips are fin but at the end of the day there are two surfaces that can move in the wind and are not bonded together which means eventually the clips will work free. I think you did an amazing job though. Well done.

  5. Is that 4mm, 6mm or 10mm? You know there are breather tapes and closing bars to fit on the bottom and aluminium tape to fit at the top to impede water ingress abd allow for air expansion?
