3 Interior Designers Transform The Same Luxury Bathroom | Space Savers | Architectural Digest

We gave interior designers Lula Galeano, Laura Hodges, and Alvin Wayne a photo of the luxury bathroom – then asked each of them to create a design for it in their particular style, however they pleased. 1. I like what the lady in black/white presented. She provided storage and plants. Her space was very inviting. My only change would be taking down that piece above the tub. That would freak me out way too bad.
    Thanks for an interesting video.

  2. Lula will design the house of my dreams! OMG…I gasped with the tiles and lines in the floor and then the tub in the middle and the water collection….if I will have any money…I'll give it to her 🤣🤣🤣

  3. Lula killed that but I definitely miss Jett and Noz… just saying. Could we get a show with Noz, Lula, and Jett please. Jay thanks

  4. The markets are been propped up by the FED printing money with NO limit. Every time the Market blips down the FED dumps cash into the dip.

  5. I honestly hate the very slick tile… only thing I can imagine is getting out of the tub, then slipping and hit my head.

  6. All were wonderful! If this were for my bathroom, I would want almost all of Laura's entire design, but with Alvin's wall/floor/ceiling design, Lula's full-wall vanity, and Alvin's tub and where he placed it

  7. All 3 designs are amazing in their own unique way, however, the space its still a bathroom. They talked about functionality, but as they are done, they are not functional. Laura was the only one to include 2 storage options, although in a bathroom this large, there were lots of different ways to have more storage spaces and still get the luxury, spa like feeling.

  8. Honestly, i despise putting toiletries in a bathroom. It makes everything cluttered. I’d have a bodycare skincare wardrobe that I grab before I go to shower and put back after use. I want my bathroom to be like a retreat. I really love Lula’s and its perfect for me. But thats just me. 😅

  9. I wasn't sure where Laura was going with this, as her design choices seemed a little dated starting out, but the end result was my favorite! Just warm and inviting 😌

Lula's was so considered and functional but maybe a little too dramatic for everyday use. Stunning tho!

Alvin's was my least favorite. Altho beautiful, it felt a little dark and almost crypt-like? 😶

  10. Lula's bathroom was so nice, I can definitely see myself having a bathroom like that and I love how "airy" and "fresh" it looked. The ceiling and lights were amazing although in think for the bath tub I would switch the marble on the stairs to something else, because if water gets on them, I don't want to slip and fall and die lol

  11. I love Laura’s design simple and calming it Looks neat and organized. Lula is the least for me because the steps on the tub is not safe specially when we get off the tub wet.

  12. Someone is editing these comments. Imagine if you spent the money on something helpful like the childrens hospital or disabled veterans. What a waste of money this video is. Edit: each of these unique designs could have paid someone’s college tuition.

  13. I like Alvin’s the best, especially that he put it in NYC and that he left the windows unadorned. His is the most elegant and luxurious.

  14. Lula is the only one that properly considered moisture issues. I don't know if it's a reflection of living in a more humid climate that I'm thinking this, but I feel like that feeling of luxury would be impeded by mold. I'm sad to not see the other three designers in this video, though. They'd have killed it.

  15. Lula is just incredible. How she used the natural lighting and placed the sinks accordingly, the roman inspo 😩🥰 and The open window is gorgeous. The only thing tho, that bathtub looks like a death sentence. I would rather a much safer option.

  16. I love Lula's design but the rainwater stuff is a bit much for me. I would probably add storage under the sink and just add a small shower area in the corner near the sink. Also I would probably put the tub straight on floor, because I can only imagine how slippery it would to try and walk down the stairs.

  17. Laura's design is homey but too old looking for me. Alvin's is great but it doesn't feel personal enough (like what a developer of a luxury apartments would make). Would definitely adopt some of the elements from Lulu's design but overall it's way too much, feels like a public space.

  18. I love Laura European style and ideas applied in this bathroom. How beautiful the bathtub and rain shower idea is and having access to an outdoor space is genius 🤩🤩🤩

  19. I would focus probably of two toilt stalls opposite each other, enclosed with no door; probably an oversised shower between them, and then a wall of glass in front of the shower and a tub in front of that. and then on opposuet sides mirrors with sinks

  20. Am I the only one who noticed they didn’t put in a toilet anywhere? Or did I miss it?

  21. WHERE IS DAREN JETT HE IS THE REASON I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND YOU TOOK IT AWAY FROM ME WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO NOW OH NOOOO THE PAINNNNN

  22. I dont know, im not getting younger, the second bathroom looks very open, but the bathtube … girl, you wanna break my body?! And the drainage at the walls?! Seriously? Do i want mold in there?! I cant clean that area without a ladder or help. I need to use the toilet … oh where did you hide it?

Third bathroom, that looks like a living room for me. Damn, the corners of the sink looks very unhealthy …

First bathroom, yeah, at first glance, very nice, but where is the toilet?! But i feel like this bathroom is now too wide open like the third option, damn, this room is even larger then my real sleeping room. Damn, the heating bill will kill me.

  23. lula's bathroom is gorgeous but damn is no one scared of those steps, i think she could at least include some fancy rug to go on them, it's just
    so dangerous

  24. If you produce so much steam in your bathroom that you need to design a whole collecting device in order to evacuate the condensate towards a substantially long and wide floor channel that ends up collecting enough water to reuse for other purposes, you have a serious humidity problem on your hands. Plus who needs toilets!?
