Backyard Citrus Trees – Dwarf Finger Lime Unboxing and Planting – Florida Container Garden

OMG YES CAVIAR LIME!!!!
So excited about getting this finger lime tree.
“Dwarf” can still be up to 10′ but that’s still plenty big for this container gardener for now. I can’t imagine a 20′ tree of these beauties.
And now we wait.

This is where I got mine:

🌞 My garden set up includes:
* The official Earth Box store has a lot of color combinations, so it’s worth going direct. I would suggest getting the casters, totally worth it and SO helpful. Also where you can get the automatic watering system made officially for their system. *
Use my referral code on the EarthBox website: https://earthbox.com/r/ei99DQSg/

  1. Hi there that's a decent finger lime by the look of it. One thing finger lime like other citrus have shallow feeder roots that don't like competition so the flowers around the edge may become an issue, in my experience a layer of pine bark mulch or mulch of some kind is the way to go. Good luck with your gardening and enjoy the limes when they start fruiting, mine have started flowering and setting fruit here in South Australia so in a few months I'll have some limes myself. πŸ‘

  2. how is the finger lime tree doing now – a year later? I'm considering getting one so was wondering if it was easy to maintain and flourish. thanks
