We are in Puyallup Washington and our local costco just put a limit on our eggs too. We used to buy the Wilcox 18 pack cartons 4-6 at a time. They no longer have the Wilcox and limit of 2 on the ones they do have. God bless you all

I heard the govt saying we had record Black Friday sales, something like $9+ billion, yet all I'm hearing/reading in comments is how ppl saw no lines in stores across the country on Fri. They're trying to hide the fact that ppl are shopping wayyy less – either to avoid their own failures, or o fake increased consumer confidence. Either way, WE know the truth, & I bet most ppl hear that & think, well, that's not what I saw, & I didn't see record spending! What's sad is this will keep many ppl from realizing how bad things are, & trick them into not stocking up. It'll also make it harder to wake ppl up – esp those in denial to begin with. The govt is gonna let this go to a breaking point until it can't be ignored any longer, & I think ppl will lose it. I pray no one will, but those who do will be bc they're about to have the shock of their lives, & it'll be too late!

I can confirm, Tesco north Birmingham UK today, limit on eggs. Limit of three packs per customer, regardless of pack size. £1.50 6 eggs from one brand. You can buy eggs in 6, 12, 15, or 18. Prices reasonable for now.
I has lunch with my elderly aunt and uncle, and their friend in her early 80s today. You can buy a mug of tea for £1.35, and sit there all day getting free refills. It's cheaper than sitting at home trying to heat your home. I had a cheap lunch, and stocked up on free sauce sachets, salt and pepper, sugar and sweetner sachets, and a few wooden tea stirrers. I collect stirrers for tinder for SHTF.
It is commendable that you are sharing your findings, knowledge and information to others.
But a high percentage of those people cannot afford to prep and stock up.
Most people are living day to day.
Some will starve to death.
Older folks will freeze to death this winter.
Some will loose their properties due to defaulting on their mortgages.
