  1. Lol! only watched 2 mins so far but already you have made me laugh, checking in with what you are up to on your allotment keeps me on the straight and narrow in my Yorkshire garden. I shall now crack on with you and your November tour X

  2. Greetings from Michigan! Cold and wet here as well, 45mph winds today. Thanks for showing some of the hard work that normally happens behind the scenes, many don't realize how much work we actually put into our gardens! Cheers!
    Edited: spelling

  3. Itโ€™s very strange temp this year, I still had some tomatoes out my unheated greenhouse last week, I had to finish ripening them in airing cupboard but tomatoes in November who would have thought that.

  4. Super good start๐Ÿ™‚ stage 1. I personally have done this project somewhat recently and it felt good. I don't really remember how many stages but three or so.

  5. Even though most of the plants go dorment, I find November the most fascinating month and your allotment has always something special to offer. Thank you Katrina, for sharing and putting people in a good mood โค๏ธlove from Rome.๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นciao๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ˜˜

  6. I cannot believe how much fog weโ€™ve been having not to mention how cold as well ๐Ÿฅฐ the allotment is still looking lovely with all your autumnal colours ๐Ÿ‚

  7. Just looking at 8 inches of snow that dropped last night and More on the way ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ tired of winter already . c'mon spring

  8. I think most of us have a "corner of shame" in our gardening areas. ๐Ÿ˜it's a blustery day here in SE Michigan so I find it totally enjoyable walking thru your garden with you and watching you clean it up. Your new "treat" plants look lovely! I, on the other hand, have gone crazy ordering flower seeds. For which I will not have the room to plant even a quarter of them! We love our plants.

  9. Someone once told me, the garden will tell you what to do and when to do it. So I stopped planning my gardening (of course there are exceptions). I recommend . Regards .

  10. Awesome. I just consolidated my dirty laundry area into one area this last weekend. All the stuffs tucked away under the kids fort. LOL! My favorite thing this fall has been composting, mulching beds and starting new garden beds. There won't be much grass in the yard come spring now, hopefully lol ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. We are under snow and sub freezing for the past 3 weeks. Seeing the life in your garden is a life line till spring!!!! Thank you Kat. ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒป

  12. I drilled holes in the bottom of my wheel barrow to prevent rain from standing and stinking. It's still good "tea" but i couldn't bear the smell either and dumped it.

  13. Thanks for sharing! Like your wisdom on setting realistic goals so important. Definitely relate to the stinky wheelbarrow scenario too ๐Ÿ˜‚ although mine is old dustbins from the previous plot holder. Best wishes as you prepare for your wedding – very exciting.

  14. Hello Katrina, -9 C here in US Minnesota Tuesday 9:00AM we have 7 inches of new snow from yesterday covering the garden. You are sure busy there today working hard. It does feel good to clear out and tidy up right? Do you use any of the rose hips for tea? I do look forward to seeing your videos. Can not wait to watch the wedding flowers growing and being harvested.

  15. Greetings from the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. As a gardener I embrace the end of the growing season when our beds lie fallow and Mother Earth rests. Bright Blessings! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›

  16. I feel your pain when it comes to time. For us, who have a day job from monday to friday and family, we always look forward to the weekend to do something at the allotment or garden…and then…it rains…

  17. I guess we all end up with way more pots that we intend to reuse but never seem to.

We're nearing snow here in Oregon USA. Just harvested persimmons (first crop) from my newish tree. My garden is now officially done producing food for the year but I still enjoy watching over it. And I enjoy seeing your garden too.

  18. Was hoping for an update on the pond and how the fish are doing! Mine are fine but knowing how much to feed them at this time of year is difficult. Thank you for your November tour.

  19. Not boring at all! Watching you get an eye injury, gagging, clear the mess. Itโ€™s therapeutic watching you clear out the bins and make decisions. I also think your advice on having certain goals is a great idea. I tend to do lists and then get frustrated when the list is never completedโ€ฆthanks for reorienting how to look at things.

  20. Doesn't matter what your showing we love your channel and enjoy seeing you. Mike and I are getting ready to plant our onions and garlic. Weather here in central Texas is crazy, it was 84 yesterday and today it 40. We are filming a series on our channel on garlic from start to harvest. Great job on the clean up! Blessings, Rochelle

  21. Hi Kat, loving that you are checking in with us, very happy to see you. We all have a corner of shame LOL! I did have a sort out of mine a while ago, but the corner of shame keeps moving and now there is another area that has become a dumping ground for the winter … oops! We have had a lot of rain in our corner of Surrey too. And its been a foggy autumn lately too. I have been desperate to rake up my leaves for leaf mold making but its been so soggy. I like your idea for your composting material while you sort out your bin area. Good use of all that green material. Been doing a bit of mulching and wondering if I should chop my dahlias, I am leaving mine in again this year ๐Ÿคžthey will be ok ๐Ÿ™‚

  22. I agree about the lush, green pathways helping to set-off the drab garden hues this time of year. It reminds me of how the right frame can highlight the appearance of a photo or picture.

  23. Hi there from Northern New Mexico in the USA. Always love to wander around your plot, any time of year. I don't get to do any gardening anymor come up for many reasons, so I Enjoy watching you garden and see what you can come up with. Thank you for taking us along with you.

  24. Here on the shore in Maryland it's been really mild so far, unseasonable mild, but the normal ton of rain. We did have some frosty mornings tho, after you mentioned last video about waiting, I did too, just need to get them divided. It is rather amazing what a difference the grass made to the look of you garden, really is lovely.
