My Favorite Trail of All Time: Slick Rock – Full Length Adventure

This adventure was originally filmed in 2019 as a multi-part series and has been remastered into this full length movie. In this adventure we head for the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California to spend the next several days exploring some Slick Rock Trail, Deer Valley, and more. We get after it on some challenging obstacles, finds some spectacular camping spots, enjoying some delicious meals and comradery around camp. This adventure won’t be without it challenges, but it will all be worth it because this trail would go one to become one of my all-time favorites and I already can’t wait to go back.

  1. This adventure was originally filmed in 2019 as a multi-part series and has been remastered into this full-length movie. All new long format adventures coming soon!

  2. There's only one issue, with Australian road rules I doubt one of those cars would be allowed on the road, you Americans are bloody lucky.

  3. I have watched this series well over 10 times after his death and every time I had cried. Half my childhood had been ripped away by a stupid disease that I am also suffering from. Rip techno bless your soul…

  4. One the best! Great trails an the scenery is incredible! NorCal is my favorite as well.

  5. Great video but what the heck is that" thing" hanging off the passenger rear of the green jeep? It looks like a boom box lol. Maybe it was the camera ankes but it looked like it would have been ripped off on the first tree.

  6. My first reaction was, he’s finally wheeling again! Then I read this was 3 years ago. I wish you would go back to more content like this. Great video.

  7. Brad ~ This has got to be one of my favorite TrailRecon shows! Your videography is excellent and the narration is clean, informative, and entertaining. I ruined my sliders on the Rubicon this year in my JLR 2-door and am shopping for something stout – suggestions?

  8. Awesome recap. I’m a member of the jeep club that adopted that trail. We met at expo. You said i had the best gladiator you saw there. It’s on one tons, 40s, coilovers, hydro assist, long arm front and 4 link rear with a gfc camper

  9. Loving the full videos. These amp me up to get out and continue to wheel! plus Marcos cooking is always a dream! Thanks Brad for posting all these!

  10. Great seeing Asian community representin' too! Love the mix of people!

  11. Awesome video with an amazing terrain and cool people. I could watch it 24/7 😀. The cook is more like a star restaurant cook than a camping meal cook, 😂👍🏻

  12. as a newer follower of the channel it's so great to see these older vids combined into a single episode, have really enjoyed these (and Marco's cooking). Does he have a recipe blog or book? would love to make some of what he's making.

  13. WOW that was extreme off roading! I am amazed at how capable are both the Jeeps and the Drivers! I watched the whole video and it was a lot of fun!

  14. i wish I was in America,im a mechanic i would like learn how do you build these cars to be so powerful like this

  15. Looking back would the 392 be more fun? I find myself with traction control off and swaybar disconnected going way farther that I should. The all wheel drive is proving to be a valuable tool

  16. I started watching and then went…. wait these are all old rigs LOL and i have seen this I swear! great to see it remastered. This is a bucket list adventure. I've done rubicon moab and these are still on the list of to go on trails.

  17. Brad do you think your 392 as is (37s) would be able to traverse these trails?
