  2. When we lived on Magnetic Island we installed a wonderful irrigation system unfortunately we don't have one here.

  3. Mulch is a must where we live. I’m happy the home centers put wood chip mulch on sale for practically every holiday throughout the spring and summer.
    This is a timely topic. Although we get a lot of rain in the Carolinas we can also get dry periods. In any case Greenville is famous for clean water 💦 and it is important to keep it that way with proper filtration from polyculture plantings and the wise use of mulches. Rain gardens are important and we’re eager to learn more about them. 🌾🌻

  4. Great tips. Water catchment is regulated where I live because of veteran water rights, so our ability to catch too much is limited. However, we can collect some which is helpful.
