Preparing and Planting Out My Pumpkin Patch | Permaculture Farm

A couple of years ago I grew a huge number of pumpkins but last year not so much. This year I’m planting pumpkin in a number of different locations to see what I can get. Today I take a look at the plants that are already in the ground and also get to clearing space for more plants, then finally get some small seedlings planted. Hopefully with warm weather on the way they’ll get growing and give the abundance I’m hoping for!!

I’ve started a buymeacoffee page – it should be renamed buymeaplant page as I hope to use funds raised here to diversify my trees and shrubs in my food forest. If you’d like to support me – link is below!! Thank you!

  1. Those volunteer tomatoes should do really well. I’ve found mine that I’ve planted out look terrible from too much water and wind. I’m not sure if they’ll bounce back, maybe the sunny days will help. Loved hearing the kookaburra in the background. There’s a special mention to you Linda in my latest video💕 Have a wonderful week xx Cathi xx 😘

  2. Do you not have squash vine borers? They are HORRIBLE here in west central Alabama, USA. They make growing any kind of squash nearly impossible unless you are willing to use chemical pesticides.
