Here it is in my food forest growing among Mexican Sunflower.
The scientific name is Psophocarpus tetragonolobus.
Other common names are: cigarillas, goa bean, four-angled bean, four-cornered bean, manila bean, princess bean, asparagus pea, dragon bean.
It is a nitrogen fixing vine with attractive flowers that attract pollinators.
All parts of the plant are edible and are high in protein..
The leaves, flowers, roots, and bean pods can be eaten raw or cooked
