Zone 9 Arizona Backyard Garden: Zone 9b Fall Planting September 2018. We are planting: broccoli, cabbage, collard greens, brussel sprouts, green beans, snow peas, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, parisian carrots, yellow squash, cilantro, cucumber, armenian cucumber, and cauliflower.

We only planted in our three Square Foot Raised garden beds this day. The date was September 19, 2018.

I'm in Phoenix.. just starting to figure out gardening here.. it's going into summer.. late April.. so I'm in a holding pattern trying to figure things out, but your clip has given me hope. I subbed, and I'll CK out your other clips to give me guidance. I've started 2 self wicking pots with squash growing.. have you tried the self wicking? I'll find out by watching I'm sure. Hope to be posting reply next year with success on my part. I am on keto.. no kids to feed.. so I don't plant root veggies because of high carbs… It's fun!! Lol.. spit and fiber in mouth made me laugh out loud . Keeping it real.

  4. No such thing as zone 9 in Arizona. Maricopa county is zone 13. Can you please explain how you came up with zone 9? Thanks!!!

  5. can you recommend asparagus seeds that grow well here in the lower desert zone 9? -thanXs!… I am in Gold Canyon…. far SE valley
