Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄 ❤️
Hi Robbie and Gary!!
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤️
I cut up the tops that come with my totes and place them under the plants that I have on the ground.
ROBBIE, MY BROTHER PLANTED A TOMATO SEED IN THE 22 GL. CONTAINER. IT'S HUGE, LOADED WITH FLOWERS. HE WAS A LITTLE LATE PLANTING IT BUT IT TOOK OFF. IN SE TEXAS HOW CAN WE SAVE IT FROM WINTER FROST AND FREEZE. MY HUSBAND CAN'T PULL IT IN OUR GARAGE. TOO HEAVY. HELP PLEASE.
It’s cold here in Alberta Canada and snow on the ground. I am glad to be able to see a garden being work on.
Hi, I didn’t know that others like scissors in the garden. I have an ornamental hose reel that I hang a garden shovel on and a pair of scissors. It is so handy 👍 My mom used to say, “great minds think a like.” Thanks for sharing 😊
I like your motto of doing something – even a small bit – every day. Wasn't feeling great today but I got some leaves raked into a huge plastic bag for mulch or the bottom of a new tote later. And I tied down the cover of my winter hoop house and picked some peas and my first broccoli. Big accomplishment of the week was getting another rain barrel set up to collect rain water. It filled in minutes in our recent rain.
Just watched a video from James P about Tuck. It's titled TUCK HEALTH UPDATE. Please watch this video!!! Maybe you have the information he needs.
Elevated raised beds is the next best thing, to totes, n buckets. Something built or bought waist high. Love mine! But i do like the mini raises beds made with totes. Havent had much luck finding free or cheap patio chairs for chair garden.
Thanx for all your videos.
I always say (if caught in rain), I don't absorb water and burst😂😂🎄🪴💜
Great 👍 garden 🪴 I love growing vegetables
I worked outside in my garden yesterday, it was so windy , your garden is still looking good Robbie.
Hello from Malaysia. Tqsm Robbie for the video. I always, always looking forward for it.😍😍😍
East Central Illinois is cold. I have been putting card board and potting soil from flower pots in a tote. Can I put kitchen scraps in there also?
I can't tell you how many pairs of scissors I have for the garden I lay them down and walk away then forget where I used them last. Then I have to go grab another pair. Lol
Have you tried putting your ground pots on your dollar store plastic plates to stop tree roots?
Hey Robbie I like your. Video
Happy Holidays to you and Gary and Kitty Yes Robbie we are freezing weather over here , The weather report said we broke the 100 year record. of being colder than 1oo years ago. were hibrernating like the Bears. stalked up all our necessities and foods and what not. Just getting out and Christmas shopping for the 1 child ( girl ) 3 years old. Taking it easy with the gardening until springtime, I planted a bunch of bulbs though there in the garage. The Hummingbirds are still here. and i bought a big giant bag of birdseeds for the little wild birds. They keep me happy and busy. and the big birds i feed also. and squirrels too. We have been able to watch movies and organize stuff around the house.🙆♀ We have tons of leaves ready for spring time. As you say free soil. Take care and be well.👩🌾👨🌾✌💝
How cold does it get. I would like to grow ginger & turmeric in pots. We get as low as 31 degrees this time of year. Oregon coast
Tree roots, I’m dealing with that now. I had no idea this would happen to my raised garden beds. 🙄
Oh yeah, my neighbors’ trees killed all the veggies in my raised beds. The beds were full of fine roots from the trees. I am going to “raise” those raised beds before next spring. I also will add six inches of wood chips to the ground.
My chair garden is doing just fine!
Thank you for another awesome video! I always look forward to watching your videos 🙂
Have a good day Robbie 🍁
My plants really do like the lower soil level in the totes/buckets for the winter. The lower soil level totes/bucket plants are thriving when I compare them to the ones I put more soil in. Thanks so much for sharing all your knowledge Robbie! 🙂
