  1. Jingle Bells Jingle Bells 😊 Last year I tried Trader Joe’s popcorn and 6 sprouted. 3 lived but only had 2 ears total. I had maybe 6 kernels off the 2 ears. Definitely was an experiment

  2. My experimental garden produced small harvest of peas, romaine lettuce, green beans, squash, a few bell peppers and two small ears of corn. Container gardening this year was different but it showed that I can grow food as needed. My aluminum greenhouse fell apart again. So I will try again next year to plant more veggies and fruit as much as I can. Thank you for the tips with this video about gardening.

  3. You are right on about having to experiment with gardening. I can't believe how big that lemon is. Btw I absolutely love your Christmas outfit 😊

  4. Took my gardening inside for winter using hydroponics. It is doing great and with the price and quality of lettuce glad I am growing some. Got two tomato plants in the system, and might have to actually plant inside but fun to experiment. I was even able to get a few small carrots and radishes from the small hydroponics.

  5. I brought some kale and celery indoors and have them growing in my basement. I also have 4 coffee plants that are getting pretty big, 1 had coffee beans on it last year.

  6. I've been gardening, mostly in containers, for years. Some years are definitely more successful than others but every year I get something. My next goal is to work out some type of indoor system so that I can keep growing in winter.

  7. Really have not had much success with potatoes, really need to continue trying until I discover the secret to growing potatoes in my area. Good luck all with all your trials and successes.

  8. Love the container garden! I live in an apartment with a decent size patio. Grow bags and containers have worked great! Haven’t tried okra yet…gonna try that next!👍

  9. I have been reading up on container gardening and grow bags for growing on my condo patio come next summer. Also looking at starting some herbs for inside soon.

  10. I have been working on garden plans for next season. What to do better on getting everything I want in the garden and organized!

  11. Hi Morgan, love your Christmas outfit. Hydroponics is the way to go during the winter if you live in a cold climate. I made a homemade hydroponic setup with a storage tub and lid. Went to the thrift store and got some things and go to a nursery for supplies on the pots and organic liquid fertilizer for your water. Green beans, lettuce and many other veggies. Have a blessed day!

  12. Microclimates are fun. At first I felt overwhelmed by the idea that it wasn’t as simple as my general growing zone. But you end up being able to grow all sorts of stuff that you “can’t” according to your zone otherwise. Experimenting is the best part of it all.

I’ve had mixed success with those black totes. We’ll see how it goes. I’m glad it’s worked for you. I love Texas growing – year round gardening. So lovely!

  13. Love gardening, planning on a move off grid this summer so didn't grow last year. Will start as soon as I get on new property.

  14. I wish I could garden. Where I live it's just not possible. Your spinach looked beautiful raw spinach is my fav.

  15. My small garden only produced a bunch of okra which is good because I love it. Got a lot of tomatoes but those green worms could eat a whole plant over night… 😢

  16. I'm in Florida and live in a small condo. No land at all to plant. The front of the condo get a little bit of sun, the back of the condo is all shade. I have had some luck planting Cherry Tomatoes in container. But did not have any luck with Cilantro which is my favorite plant. So, I'm consistently experimenting. Great video as always!! Thank you for sharing your tips.

  17. Have raised beds and tried grow bags with poor results. Took tomatoes from grow bags to beds and they really started to grow. Pray for husband who is receiving hospice care now.

  18. I grew potatoes for the first time. I was so proud!! I declared myself a farmer! Lol They made enough for one large bowl of Potato salad . In the Spring I’m now going to try other things!

  19. We had a lot of success with edamame and cherry tomatoes this year. Our carrots and pepper plants struggled.

  20. You definitely had better luck in your grow tubs than I did. However, I can really grow the
greenery really well. I was able to make a butternut squash casserole with the one butternut squash that survived our hot dry summer.

  21. YAY. We were able to bring inside our pepper plant and tomato plant and they are still producing fruit and doing well. Trying to over winter the pepper plant and put it outside again next spring/early summer (in Reno Nevada)
