    My parents plant lemon cucumbers, carrots, radishes, green onions, lettuce, tomatoes, blueberries and strawberries 🙂 They all grow well in Washington so i’m not sure about Cali, but i would definitely recommend growing strawberries!

    Jessica: I usually dedicate 30 minutes to an hour to deseeding a few pomegranates into a bowl so when i’m ready to eat them i can just grab a spoon and dig in

    I had a mini nectarine tree unfortunately they die in the uk because of the rain. I have a tangerine, a lemon, an eating apple and a pear in my garden.

    Parker might like my recipe for minty tomatoes. Just slice the tomatoes and in a jug put some malt vinegar, some mint and a touch of sugar to calm the vinegar down. Pour over the tomatoes and put in the fridge for 1/2. My favourite vegetables to grow are the red, yellow orange and white carrots. You can buy the seed mixed so you never know which ones you get. You can also buy the carrot seed that grows the purple carrots.

    I’m so glad this channel is child friendly because I watch this with my son and I just know that there is know bad words in it and that he won’t copy the words in it and I also watch this because Jessica is awesome at giving advice about looking after your home and the kids health

    Trees that you definitely need in Southern California and the huge yard you have. I'm suprised that pomegranite wasn't the first tree on Jessica's list. Secondly, avocado, make sure that the tree is already male to female grafted or you will have to take care of that later. Peach, nectarine and plum trees all start to ripen at the same time during the summer, make sure you have a lot of storage ready and be ready for a lot of fallen, and a bit eaten fruit because of birds. Citrus trees, especially lemon, lime, orang and grapefruit do very well in Southern California. An herb garden is a must and, after established, herb gardens do very well, since most of them grown as weeds in the Southern California landscape anyways.
