  1. In reference to the concrete wall, instead of painting it black, installing natural looking stones on the wall would of gave the backyard a more natural look along with a natural waterfall. That would of had a more BC environmental look! Overall, the project looked fantastic.

  2. This backyard is absolutely beautiful and I am loving the privacy glass, furniture🪑, and that water 💦 feature. Brilliant job guys 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾!!

  3. I wish they put up a list of the plants they used. I need some good shade plants for my own garden.

  4. This is absolutely one of the best transformations that I have ever seen. It would have been more enjoyable if you had spent more time showing the whole transformation a lot more detailed and slower. Woosh, woosh, finished. I still don't know how you resolved the first and original patio deck problem. It's a beautiful living space. And trees are expensive. Isn't it wonderful that you can go out and buy them instead of having to wait decades to achieve the full effect and enjoyment of this beautiful living space. Congratulations Joel et al.

  5. Lovely, though I think for me instead of a water feature, I'd rather have a fire pit.

  6. Lovely garden… but what is the deal with kids that can't run down a hill? When I was six and my brother was 4 we decided to go on a hike… we ended up going down to the Rouge River, crossed it and then hiked to the pool on Snake Hill – a journey of 8 miles to home again. Not a big deal for an adult… but my 4 year old brother… great little trouper!

  7. The crass jokes are no longer welcome, not even from the start… initially loved the program, but this ruins it for me……unsubscribing

  8. So I see a nice entertainment area for adults I guess they just took out the playground and said screw the kids.

  9. It is one of the most beautiful ADULT yards I've ever seen! The family includes two VERY young children, whose needs have been completely ignored.
I'm astounded by the selfishness of these parents. They must have a good marriage, because clearly no one is as important to them as each other.

  10. The umbrella is nice. But the metal water feature and all the glass just makes it look expensive (but it doesnt seem like its so worth it). The plants were more interesting that the fountain that looks like a sink and the glasses that made it look like a bathroom.

  11. Liked this one. At least the orange was limited to the cushions – and can be easily changed! Loved the water feature – looked safe for children and at the same time, had impact and a lovely sound. The "bargain" greenery was soft and lovely.

  12. 5:56 Wow. Snotty much? Coming from the people paying other people to do their work for them, that’s special. Looks great.

  13. Where are Leland Cypress? Beautiful when fully grown. Makes a great wall. When planted with space to bush out, oh, my.
Walked by a wall of them along the street side of a corner house and was awed.

  14. Only one thing I differ is the removal outdoor shade room. The kids would have loved it once they above five and till 15/18, i.e, for the coming 10-13 years! Show them the video after 5 years and someone who are 12-14 already and I think they will all agree with me!

  15. Utterly gorgeous and really inviting garden after the makeover. Do wish the furniture designer lady hadn't put a vase of lillies out though, the owners have a cat and lilies are not safe for cats 😔

  16. I would really love it if you could start listing the plants used by category like trees, perennials, shade, sun, etc! Would be a great help to this home gardener! Sad I live far from your biz!

  17. Love how you swept the concrete slab before jackhammering it! I am not sure about the glass wall (and having to regularly clean it), compared to the savings and look of a wooden solution to the privacy issue. Though I am not a fan of huge decks, this one beautifully addressed the slope issue. The table is unique and the umbrella is spectacular, but the texture of the tabletop looks impractical. When you sit in the sectional, it the view down the driveway to the street? I would have liked to have seen the approach. Where are the kids toys and play area? No sandbox, swing set, play house? What do you see for groundcover around the ash when looking from over the deck rail?
