東郷記念館_Harajuku Togo Memorial Hall is a wedding hall with a history of more than 40 years, and despite its central location just a five-minute walk from Harajuku Station in the town of youth, it is surrounded by the greenery of Togo’s forest of 10,000 tsubo, a space where even adults can relax and enjoy themselves.

It has been used as a wedding banquet venue for couples wishing to hold a Shinto ceremony and as a banquet hall for corporate year-end parties, New Year’s parties and welcome and farewell parties for various people.

It also has a view of the garden, which shows various faces from season to season, and beekeeping activities that make the most of the natural surroundings.

The building has been in use since 1969 and has undergone a major rebuilding using the rehabilitation construction method, which utilises the building frame to infuse new value into the building once again.

The building was also reinforced with seismic reinforcement work to make it more comfortable and safe for visitors.

The new building has been beautifully reborn as a place where tradition and innovation merge.

By incorporating the carefully nurtured Togo Woods and the pond in the lush garden, the new building inherits Japanese traditions and culture centred on wood and natural materials, while at the same time infusing it with a new design as a modern building, aiming to make it a representative presence and place that can communicate globally.

The hotel’s earthquake resistance was enhanced by making use of recycled construction techniques, and a seasonal garden can be viewed from all four levels of the restaurant and banquet rooms, creating a space of quietness and momentary peace in the midst of Harajuku, which is becoming increasingly crowded day by day.

The banqueting hall on the first floor can be transformed to suit different uses, and the open space that resonates with the garden can be used in a variety of ways. The Togo Memorial Hall has been enhanced with facilities that are ideal for use in MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Exhibition/Event), in addition to weddings, celebrations and commemorative gatherings.

Togo Kinenkan offers a wide range of events such as weddings, dinners and conferences.

After 50 years, the Togo Memorial Hall has been reborn.

It has been beautifully reborn as a place where tradition and innovation merge.

The Togo Forest, which has been carefully nurtured, and the pond in the lush garden have been taken in, while Japanese traditions and culture have been inherited.

It is also infused with a new design as a modern building.

A wedding ceremony for a new age, neither Japanese nor Western
While inheriting the traditional beauty and prestige of Japan, the wedding ceremony is presented in an innovative style befitting the age of 2022.

The Tama Hibiki is a tranquil space where the sound of a waterfall in the Japanese garden echoes through the air.

The motif of the space is based on the circle and the circle as a place where the importance of marriage is emphasised.

Kagura” is a space where, through large windows, you can enjoy the changing faces of the seasons while at the venue.

The large windows allow guests to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

The large banquet on the top floor is flooded with natural light and conveys the image of nature, with the ceiling made of wood and sky and the floor inspired by the sea and waves.

The “聚洸” is a place of Japanese tradition and Japanese taste.

A space for hospitality with a focus on authenticity and a sense of atmosphere.

Precious Yakusugi cedar is also used.

Togo’s cuisine is uncompromisingly authentic, from the selection of ingredients, cooking and serving style, to the matching of dishes collected from visiting potteries.

Harmony
A fusion of traditional culture and the present

Modernist architecture aims for harmony between nature and buildings, with a Japanese garden with a mirror-like pond set amongst lush greenery and building materials made mainly from wood and natural materials.

A global presence and place that symbolises the next generation, incorporating advanced technology into modern architecture that incorporates Japanese traditions and culture.
