Making & Cutting Gardeners Soap | Recipe Included



Today, I’m making & cutting Gardeners soap. This all natural soap will help cleanse grease and grime from hard working hands. You can use as a gardener soap or mechanics soap, as it is high in Coconut oil which is great for cleaning caked on dirt and grease. This soaping tutorial is part of my building raised garden beds series and I have provided the recipe for you to make at home. Gardeners soap recipe: 500 g batch
7% superfat
36% water as percentage of all oil weight

375 g (75%) Coconut oil
50 g (10%) Cocoa Butter
50 g (10%) Olive oil
25 g (5%) Castor oil
180 g distilled water
79.62 g lye crystals
15.50 g essential oils of choice
1 1/2 Tbsp each Black Walnut hull powder & cornmeal
1 1/2 Tbsp Rhassoul clay

The technique used is called a funnel pour.

I'm an intuitive so this was a great fine for me because I really love the whole tubular or circular soap and I'm an aspiring soapmaker but I'm not in a position to even begin I've never made any soap and have an awful lot to learn but I've been watching for the last few months online and it's wonderful to hear you talk about the tangerine that is exactly what information I was given that I should blend these two cents together I can't wait to hear how that worked out for you hopefully you've done a follow-up or included it at the tail end of this video
