I have always used salted butter for everything too, until one day I was baking chocolate chip cookies with my MIL and she bought unsalted and there was no salt in the ingredients and she wouldn't let me add any because she didnt believe that salt should be in sweet things 😭 they were so bland and horrible. I remade them with my salted butter AND even added 1/2 tsp of salt and man they were fantastic. People forget that salt is a flavour enhancer, if you go crazy then yes it will taste salty but what it does if used properly is enhance the flavours of all the other ingredients. The first batch just tasted like flour and butter, my batch you could taste the vanilla and chocolate 😅

Becky! For the peanut butter cookies…after doing the crisscross fork — my mom would put 5 M&M’s on top. Changing the colors with the seasons/holidays. Only way I make them now – delicious!

I always add chocolate chips to my peanut butter cookies and they are a family favorite! I also have loved butter pecan ice cream all my life and can’t wait to try the cookies!

When my kids were young I would freeze 12 cookie dough balls in a quart bag, it was the perfect dessert to put in the oven after making dinner. We love warm cookies!❤
Hi Becky, I was wondering if I could just make the cookie dough into rolls instead of forming the cookies into ball? I only have a small freezer so space is an issue. If in rolls I could just take out a roll and form the cookies after the dough thaws. Those cookies are delicious. If you like pecans do you have Pecan Caramel Crunch frozen Yogurt? It is delicious and smooth like ice cream. I really enjoy your videos so will be watching for baby news. All the best for you and Josh.😊💜💜
