A Japanese Garden In Downtown Phoenix?? | Link Between Japan & Phoenix!



The Japanese Friendship Garden in Phoenix is named RoHoEn. It was created as a project between the City of Phoenix and Himeji, Japan. Furthermore, this garden was proposed by the major of Himeji as a way to cement a bond between the United States and Japan. There are many unique areas inside this garden from a stone garden, tea garden, and a courtyard. All of which is a gift to Phoenix and the United States from the City of Himeji. Enjoy the 3.5 acre garden with a 12-foot waterfall and Koi pond with over 300 fish!
