I trafficked heroin from Kenya to Seychelles, was arrested at the airport and sentenced to 12 years

A mother will do everything for her child and that’s exactly what Leah did for her son to get an education after losing hope.

She was going to earn a cool 500K by taking drugs from Kenya to Seychelles but the moment she landed, the arrest came.

The result, was 12 years in prison in Seychelles, regrets, shame, and finally, a great connection with God.

On this episode of LNS, she walks Lynn through her mistakes, lessons, denial, and self-acceptance and wants her story to serve as a lesson to those making shortcuts in life

On this 7 episode series dubbed Pain to Power, we will feature stories of women from prison both locally and internationally and lay focus on one organization by the name Clean Start and how they are helping reintegrate these women back

  2. Hi Lynn Ngugi and your guest, thank you for your segments ,inspiring stories and educational. Watching from Kansas 🇱🇷

  3. Amen .the love of God for us is strong and His faithfulness is eternal. She trusted in God and warn the battle. All the best my sister

  4. My dad has been in remand for one and a half years and he is in his 60s. We are having a fund drive to get him out and now come to think of it, he has been hesitant in the desire to get his freedom and I and my sister did not understand WHY he isn't interested in leaving the prison. Now i get it !!! It's because he doesn't know where to fall back to😔😔!!! Someone with a plug for men who have been in prison?

  5. Catholics believe and worship one true God. God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Ghost. We do not worship Mother Mary but venerate and accord Her utmost respect as the Mother of our dearest Lord Jesus Christ and our Mother too. Without Her YES Jesus would not have been born.

  6. Never judge. My own biological mum was arrested for planning my fads murder because of the violence she had endured all her marriage. She was convicted for 8 years and unfortunately she died in Lang'ta women's prison. It was a very traumatising period for me as a firstborn and also my siblings. I am glad to say Jesus took away my pain. This life will humble you in one way or another. NEVER JUDGE. As much as the people convicted feel the pain, the children or loved ones bear the most. The shame, disgrace, reproach is on another level. It needs God to overcome. It took me over 30 years to feel like a normal human being. It doesn't hurt me anymore. Mama you are strong

  7. Every human being needs to be accepted and every one of us needs a second chance. This woman is a better person than most of us out here, who are busy judging others. It reminds me to remove the log first.

  8. I thank God for Leahs blessings and pray for her continual blessing. Just a pointer…the Catholic faith does not condone prayer to the statue. That must have been a representation or a misunderstanding from the one who was explaining to her. Be blessed

  9. Leah tells a story about coming from a comfortable place to facing the world and meeting the challenges of life.

  10. Always time well spent listening to LNN SHOW and her guests…Lynn and team 💐💐💐

  11. Lynn l love you for being so inclusive in all the challenges of life ❤️ Leah I know you will be prosperous in your journey.

  12. Am so sorry for what you went through. Thank God you came out strong. But point of correction, we Catholics don't worship Mary. She is a vessel of honour and grace by virtue of being the mother of our Savour.

  13. This topic has really it home, I have bro who currently is remand for charges of robbery with violence, may Leah can help shed light on how the society should deal with ex-convicts cause right now our family is a laughing stock.

  14. Touching story.
We hv been treated so badly at Seychelles airport. I now understand.
They thoroughly checked us .We just cd not understand why treat us so.
Anyway, Seychelles airport staff owe an explanation and apology when people are very innocent .
I hv been having questions about how I hv been treated at Seychelles but you hv enlightened me abit

  19. Leah you are a heroin. Every mother can do anything for her child. Owning your mistake is being brave.
Lynn I always follow you from Lesotho. I pray that one day I can have the similar programme like yours in order to change many lives. You are my inspiration.

  20. When you believe in fate, you will see positivity in everything.
Leah God favoured you because you served him and His love kept you going even when things got hard!

  21. you carry heroine to go and mess other peoples kids so you can take care of your own. Its selfish of you and the choices you made have consequences.

  22. God used this path of prison for his purpose.. this wilderness made you to become a Servant of God.. annoiting is expensive

  23. I wish my mum could come home one day life has not been easy without mum 12yrs down the line.3 more to go.
