Kurashiki: Home to the BEST BREAD and Japan's Denim!

In this Japan vlog, we take a break from amazing temples and castles, and visit Kurashiki! This small town is known for many things, including being the birthplace of denim in Japan, and also for being the “Venice of Japan.” Does it hold up to either reputation? Watch to find out!

  1. Very nice. We’ll be in Kurashiki next month for a bonsai show near by. Now we’ll also have to hunt down the bakery. Note: the peaches are actually persimmons.

  6. Welcome to Japan ! Hi Bill & Heather 😊 Amazing video !!! Your trip to Kurashiki is a great choice👍👍Looking to forward to your next video💗💗 THANK YOU SO MUCH🥰

  7. Do you love Japanese Culture?! 😉 So I'm sure that you will love my music too! My music is Japanese Instrumentals! 🔴

  9. "Denim soft-serve ice cream", tastes like the Levi's Bill wore as a teenager. Just kidding, it tastes like “RUMUNE soda” and blueberries. It was unexpected that you moved further west from Osaka and Kyoto. As it turns out, it looks like you made the right decision. If you are still in Japan, winter brings rain and a lot of snow on the Sea of Japan side and dry sunny weather on the Pacific side. Keep up the great trip and don't catch any viruses. Where did you guys go this time? Can you say without seeing anything?

  10. Japan is very proud to be one of the last place you can find natural indigo dyed denim and silks, hence the name “samurai blue” for their national soccer team
