2022 Sustainability Law Practicum Presentation of Proposed Ordinances | Widener Law Commonwealth

Attendees joined Environmental Law and Sustainability Professor John Dernbach and students from his sustainability law practicum class on Tuesday, November 15 at 6 p.m., where students presented local proposed community ordinances focused on promoting sustainability.

As part of the class requirements, students prepare a proposed sustainability ordinance and a justification for that ordinance.

They select their topic from a list developed by local government officials, and they work with those officials to prepare their proposals.

In this program, which comes at the end of the semester, the students presented their proposals to a panel of local government representatives.
