Re: Raffia – We still use it to wrap gifts at my shop, but it also fits our aesthetic. We use gift wrap printed on recycled paper, and raffia looks better on that than shinier ribbon would. And people LOVE IT! Which still blows my mind, lol!

I just saw that scrap pack in the notes. Never heard of it and thought it was an absolutely wonderful idea. But….I have to pay $10/ month AND send my scraps, at my expense. Disappointing. If I had money to spare to just donate, I would. What I do have is ends and scraps. Paying $ to gift something is kind of poopy though.
The honey bear might not have turned out to be the traditional honey color, but the golden yellow was perfect with the other holiday-themed bubble bath bears!! ๐๐๐

I'm a florist in Kansas so I keep some raffia on hand all year round, but mostly during the fall. I don't use it a lot every day, it is more of a seasonal thing unless customers want rustic themes for different occasions. It is definitely not as popular as it used to be though, I remember it being everywhere all year round and it was pretty and it has its time and place for use.
