Tbh I’m not too mad at myself for that spending… it’s almost tempting me to break my plant ban 😈
how much I spend on plants – how much I spend on plants in a year – houseplant budget – how much I spend as a houseplant collector – how much I spent on houseplants

I don't want to know how much I've spent. I've never had any plants before and since May I went a little nuts and bought a lot of them. And pots and soil and pesticides and grow lights and a Rudsta. 😬
Love this
I darent add up what I spent 😂
The most I've spent on a plant was $38 dollars before taxes at Sobeys for a Calathea Makoyana or Peacock Plant. But I think that was before taxes 🤔
all in all I feel like you didn't do too horrible I probably spent about that much from the time frame of like March to June I had to rebuild my collection cuz it all died last winter so kudos for you and awesome video as always
💸💸💸💸
This year I bought about 150 dollars on plants. I started buying on the month of November 2022 because the prices go down. I've got so many wish list plants at a very affordable prices. I'm done due to the change of the weather. So, saving my money plant budget for next year.
Only purchase plants your love. Not because everyone is buying that plant.
Thanks for this video. I should ban myself from buying any more sensevieria in 2023. maybe for the 1st 6 months. I think I can do that. Hmmm…
just calculated mine, I'm not surprised it was a little over 3k haha. I'm proud of myself for actually keeping track this year to hold myself accountable! i do NOT want to know what it would have been in 2020
I really loved the graphics!! 💗
also 💸
Due to space consraints, I have seriously limited plant purchases which is a good thing! Just did a summation (in googlesheet) for 2022 and its abt $300, not counting all the substrates I bought for diy pon. 🎄
I should do the same how much I spent this year on houseplants
I worry about summer shipping(with high temps)as much as winter(at least winter you can get heat packs and insulation). I try to stick with spring and fall during milder temps.
are any plants tax deductible cause used for your business?
unpopular opinion: I STILL don't understand the hoya heads🤣
to each their own, I love that people like them, but whenever I see them online or even in person, they just do nothing for me.
Except maybe a little one with pink margins, I believe that's the crimson queen or something?
Hold on.. did I just say I like a hoya after saying I don't like Hoyas?
Maybe it's starting ..shit. 🤣
I’ve seen variegated monsteras on sale for £70 and I’m soooo tempted, but I’m going to try and take things slow and get one in the future when I feel more experienced.
At the moment I have around 80-90 plants, some on the rare side. The rare plants I have purchased have mostly been eBay bargains up to around £35. I’m trying not to spend more than that on a single plant at the moment – it feels too risky and I want to make sure that my hobby stays enjoyable and not too stressful 🐸
Hopefully the value of variegated monsteras might reduce in the future anyway! 🌟
I’ve not been doing so good mentally recently, and I’ve gone a bit overboard with buying houseplants :S all the plants I have purchased have been pretty good value though. The leafy boys just give me so much serotonin ❤️
I’m so excited watching your plantmas videos 🎄✨ they make me so happy :3 you’re awesome! 💓
girl I thought it would be a lot worst! well done you! I really like this type of content so def 💸💸💸 hoya's are the best!
I loved this video😂 plants are seriously addictive and expensive, add on top of that substrates, equipment etc. I don’t feel as bad now sat here at 1.30am in the morning, having just ordered a mini greenhouse, extra fan and prop crates to acclimatise my impulse ecuagenera buy that’s arriving this week😳. I have filled my milsbo cabinet already. And I just know I’m going to end up getting another cabinet soon😂. But I’ve worked hard as a single mum to 3 for years, they’re all grown up now so I’m enjoying spending my money on what I enjoy, and treating myself for a change. I should look back on how much I’ve spent this year, but ignorance is bliss lol
That is a good idea to keep track of the spending aspect of plant buying, I may have to try that for 2023. Thank you for the idea.
