IT HAPPENED! Perovskite Solar Cells FINALLY Hit The Market

The world is moving toward renewable energy to save the planet from destruction by
pollution. There are several ways to generate energy from renewable sources, but one
of the most common methods and easy to set up is solar panels. Many households are
setting up their own panels, but the panels are held back by their inherent limitations!
However, scientists have revealed a new type of solar cell that revolutionizes the
renewable energy industry, known as Perovskite! What is Perovskite, and what makes it
far better than standard solar cells? Join us as we bring you all the details about
Perovskite solar cells that are finally hitting the market! Fair Use Disclaimer

  1. c.c. camera live tracking website need. world maximum country's are unsafe. so much and so many type cheating problems have. also child what are they doing outside guardian don't know. police only for big problem. people suffer small small problem a lot

  2. Glad to see perovskites in the prime time! One thing I will mention is that though they are seen as a promising addition in the world of solar, they're currently being held back by their durability. Can't wait to see that problem overcome and have solars efficiency, flexibility, and cost continue to improve.

  3. I feel like the fact that perovskite cells degrade so fast when exposed to the elements should have been mentioned here because although they are amazing at converting sunlight to energy that fact does negate their qualities almost entirely

  4. @ 3:30 "solar energy doesn't generate noise pollution"
While it is true, I'd like draw your attention to the noise generated by solar inverters. Please keep in mind that it's not there in all inverters.
    Reason: Cost cutting
The noise produced by these inverters is somewhere around 15000 Hz. Since this frequency cannot be heard by old people, it's only bothersome to young people and people with sensitive hearing. This makes these inverters unsuitable for installation in urban spaces. Manufacturers need to be penalized for this, as this sound is irritating, and is nothing less than torture for the people in proximity to the inverter.

  5. Utility scale solar is a giant environmental disaster and they only produce when the sun is shining. Intermittent destabilizes The Grid. The grid demands a steady base load. No steady generation, no reliable grid. Sure this will be good for rooftop solar, and remote off grid applications. However, a functioning reliable grid, that will provide enough power to charge MILLIONS of EV's overnight, is only going to come from nuclear/NG/coal/hydro generators…which are steady and reliable and can be turned on/off as needed.

  6. The maintenance and repair of solar is constant they get dirty and damaged from weather one tornado or hail storm etc could destroy entire system in in instant. Also the awful efficiency is at peak times most of the time they are even worse. Nuclear power is our only hope for long term reliable safe power.hydroelectric is also great.

  7. With use the solar panels need to be kept clean to maintain efficiency. They also at this point do not last forever so there is replacement cost. They are improving so outlook is bright. Could the covering of large parts of earth with solar panels cause unintended consequences.

  8. Would be great if you commented on the longevity of the cells and how often they would degrade or need replacement and what advancements are there?
