VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

Braden downsized from a thousand sq ft home into this fun 400 sq ft home in Austin. He shared the beautiful perspective of seeing small homes with large landscapes versus massive houses taking over the terrain. His tiny is decorated with everything that makes him happy, from gifts to thrift items and other colorful art.

His master bedroom has built-in closets and a dresser, allowing easy clothes storage. The functional kitchen makes crafty cooking easy, and the miniature closet attached is perfect for odd things. The bathroom is small but has all the necessities, including a flushing toilet, sink, and suitable shower. The attached porch has a bright blue couch and space to hold outdoor gear when needed.

  1. Great floor plan and really cool owner. The one thing I would have to change is the kitchen countertop on the right side as you're facing the front door: those two sharp corners would have to go. The way the countertop overhangs the lower cabinets is weird and doesn't serve a purpose.
I would make a very soft curve out of those two sharp corners and cut it back some, so it doesn't hang over as much. This would visually widen the kitchen, and takes away the hard corners that make you say "OUCH!" When you bump into them.
That's it—the place is perfect! Enjoy your home man and congrats on being a part of a startup. Good luck to y'all-from Louisiana.

  2. Very nice Tiny Home ! I think I could embrace tiny home living ,but is it really economical?

  3. Wow very well done! So cozy and comfortable. The layout is gives you ample space and looks larger the 400 sq ft. Great job my friend!

  4. Lol this is not tiny. Maybe if you had to share it with 2 other people.

  5. This is the best Floorplan I have ever seen. It is truly functional (hate lofts with 4ft ceilings) and makes sens

  6. I used to live in Austin and it was really cool. Now it's just changing alot and idk I'm not a fan of the giant houses either.

  7. Thanks for sharing. So glad you didn't have shoes on in your immaculate, small but pretty home. Where are the pets? More Plants coming 👏👏Stay blessed

  8. So agree with what he said about big houses versus big trees! He is a sweetie and loved his tiny house.

  9. 12:10pm/ 12/14. I’m quite serious! How can I get the information on this gentleman’s builder of this tiny house. It’s what I’ve been looking for for years.please.

  10. I love it. Perfect size, space and convenience for a disabled single woman.
    Places to hide stuff too.
    Great 👍

  11. You're funny! When you stated you could rent out the space above your closets I thought of my old duplex that had a storage space above the bedroom closets that connected to each other with sliding doors to close it off. For some reason there was an outlet between my bedroom door frame and that storage. When my son's thought he questioned why there would be an outlet up there. I told him it was probably for the person that snuck in and is living in that spot to use and charge their phone LOL he has a huge phobia of that happening. Anyway.. LOL great layout probably one of my favorites so far. Nice to have somebody that's funny when having to hear about a stranger's life while being here really out of the interest of seeing the layout. It was amusing, great layout, great video thanks again
