  1. Do you time the adding the compost based on your zone? It’ll still get cold, and freeze overnight, and snow, for a couple months here. Would there be any problem adding compost later this month? Should I hold off a little longer?

  2. Glad I found your channel. New Ontario gardener here! Will be starting my vegetable garden from scratch come spring time!! And will be starting to compost for the first time as well. Can’t wait!

  3. Jordan, you always have so many good tips. I just learned not to till my added compost into my boxes after the initial tilling. I have been faithfully tilling every year. I thought that putting your seeds or plants into compost is a bit too strong and can burn the plants/seeds?

  4. Can you recommend what I can do to start from scratch in a garden that someone else had plants growing in it? I don't know what is going on in there! Thanks

  5. Hi Jordan, such great & informative videos! So my compost is really wet-I have a barrel composter & spin once a week when I dump the compost. I add ripped up brown Kraft paper but maybe not enough? Or do you think it’s an airflow issue? Thanks!

  6. Is it possible to start seeds too late? Examples are broccoli and lettus which tell us on the coastal BC chart that "start indoors" ends at the end of March, and direct-sow starts beginning of April. I'm confused because the last frost in Pemberton isn't utill mid-end of May. So instead of waiting to directly sow can I start inside?! Thanks!!
