Super EASY basil Propagation ‼️💚 #shorts #gardening #gardenhacks

This is an extremely easy and sustainable hack for any level of gardener.

To propagate basil in water, follow these steps:

1. Cut a stem of basil that is about 4 inches long and has at least two sets of leaves.

2. Remove the lower leaves from the stem and make a clean cut at the base of the stem.

3. Place the stem in a jar or glass of water. Make sure that the water covers the base of the stem, but not the leaves.

4. Place the jar in a sunny location, such as a windowsill.

5. Change the water every 2-3 days to keep it fresh.

After a week or two, you should start to see roots forming at the base of the stem. Once the roots are about an inch long, you can transplant the basil into a pot of soil.

It’s important to keep in mind that basil cuttings may not always root successfully. It may take a few tries before you are successful in propagating basil in water.
