Our video for Day 08 of our 31 Days of Guten Gardening Gardening Gift Giving focuses on setting up our GreenStalk and creating a lean potting mix that is well draining, and that we will be able to adapt to our plants’ needs over the indoor gardening growing season.

In this video we show you how to setup an original GreenStalk vertical garden, including adding a mover base to the allow us to use the greenstalk indoors.

While this is not an ideal mix, we do not wish to spend a lot of money on organic potting mix from the store, so instead we will use the ingredients that we already have at our house, including peat moss, coco coir, perlite, and worm castings. We will fertilize the soil as needed over the gardening season as we watch how the plants react to the media.
