    As a Canadian I can tell you grocery bill has doubled since last year. And I foresee grocery Bill's doubling again in 2023.
    Allot of the issues Canada is having. Can be blamed on one man. Trudeau
    Trudeau has done more to destroy Canada than any foreign power. The greatest threat to Canadians and Canada is Trudeau.

    I was at Dollar Tree today. Christmas area was picked over as expected. What I did not expect was the empty shelves in the food area. It was wiped out.

    Just had dinner in a local restaurant. Birthday celebration. My "Chicken Lorenzo" was a single chicken tender sliced in half, served with one hot pepper and onions. $17.99. Unbelievable. That may be the last time I eat out.

    UPDATE: Just went shopping at my local Meijer. Overall, the store seemed well-stocked. There were definite holes in the frozen potatoes and frozen vegetables. There was a special on the packets of flavored mashed potatoes ($1.19 each—-bought some more to store) and some store brand canned goods were 39 cents. I did not look at the dairy aisle this time.

    update on the energy price caps here in Australia, the legislation has officially passed and every company involved with coal and natural gas is now very uncomfortable with pursuing any future ventures in the country, at least it's happening as we're going into summer and not winter

    Most of my Christmas gifts this year are handmade or baked goods. Everyone loves my cookies and breads. My son is getting a gift card to Aldi so he can stock up his pantry

    Staring to semi fast out of food supply and affordability, Food banks locally are experiencing shortages and many more people in need. Protein items are practically non existent. Government issued food boxes have all Chinese canned food. The tuna is 1/2 water and horrid. The shelf stable milk and cooking oil is always "missing". There are these small bags also …milk missing and little one serving cereals smell rancid. Past month…no eggs,cheese or yogurt at any of four sites. Plenty of stale pastries…guaranteed to fill a belly but terrible nutrition. Thanksgiving was a bust all around. Getting serious out here !
