This is Gorgeous! what a huge yard (compared to yards in Chicago area :)) .. a Lot of mulching. do you have mulch delivered? I can't imagine hauling those bags around to fill so much space. I also love the sea oaks. When I read that it spread, I gave it back to the cashier lol

Very lovely. I have a patio pond with fountain (love it) and I added three goldfish to it last year, so glad I did. They winter over in it here in the South just fine. I have water loving plants in it as well.
I love the shape of that pond, how it wraps around the patio. Fantastic! Have you covered on the channel how it was built? I’ve seen other instruction videos, so I have a good idea, but the linear shape is a new challenge. Is it the same concept as a more rounded shape one? What liner did you use for it?
It's obvious for sentimental reasons that you don't want to touch that part of the garden too much. As you've pointed out in your garden design series: what matters is how the garden gives the person using it what they want out of it.

When you put your stones down do you put it straight into the ground with dirt your pathways
I love the moss…I’m not a fan of pristine outdoor spaces…it looks so unnatural to me. Love the pond!
