Planting Bittermelon/Ampalaya/Karela Using Semi-Container Gardening Method

Here is another gardening method that anyone with a yard can do. I am planting my bittermelon starts and I will show you how I provide the trellis by using repurposed old canopy.

  1. thumbs up ! 🙂
i am glad you showed your container as i noticed it looks like you have holes in the sides as well which i wouldn't have thought to do.
i have bittermelon seeds but i won't be doing that for awhile as i am concentrating on just getting things a little more right with what i have and then later on branching out.
i am looking forward to see your canopy in full growth. that will be such a sight to see.:-) have a good day jo and mig!👍

  3. Hi, Jo. The bottomless containers are a great ideal. I like the use of the canopy too. They break easy. So the chicken wire is great to hold it together.
