Planting garlic in a raised garden bed

Showing how to separated garlic and planting garlic in a raised garden bed.

4 varieties I’m separating and planting garlic that I purchased from Keene Garlic.
The types are
Soft neck:
Silverwhite
Early Italian

Hard neck:
Chesnok red
Georgian Crystal

For planting in the raised garden bed, I used a string and 2 spikes to make a straight line. I started 6 inches from the edge of the bed and spaced the rows 6 inches apart and the garden was planted every 6 inches in the rows. Once I was finished planting I watered in with fish emulsion and rain water. Then I covered the newly planted garlic with a thick layer of leaves and places a rolled galvanized steel fence over the top. This is to help protect the bed from squirrels digging up the garlic like they have done in the past.
