Container gardening is my specialty. I love creating vignettes with pots. For inspiration, I recommend "Garden Answer" channel. About a month ago, the young couple challenged each other to a contest in creating about 14 enormous containers along their driveway. We haven't seen an update (I think because a recent hail storm ruined a lot of the foliage), but I expect we'll see one soon.
Sophia, the sweet potato vines are thirsty plants so will benefit from frequent watering. I'm not so sure the geranium likes the same amount though. Those vines will get huge. Remember to cut them back later this season so they don't get out of hand. Since you're reusing last year's soil, add some fertilizer to the soil or as a foliar weekly feeding. I'm trying drip irrigation for my containers. Keeping up with watering can be overwhelming.
I really like that you finished the hinged plant stand in metallic paint. It's funny, you find treasures on others' curbs and put real trash on your own (busted grill and planter).
